Punch-Out for Wii

Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

I don’t own a Nintendo Wii. I think I would experience a serious lack of productivity if there was one within the walls of my house. However, my brother-in-law Dan has one and my parents have one, so I don’t have to go too far to get my fix.

I like how the Wii taps into the early glory of Nintendo by encouraging its users to remember that video games are supposed to be fun and should be shared with others. Also, it’s not afraid to revisit the past, to tap into nostalgia. I can’t wait to play Mega Man 9, a BRAND NEW 8-bit game made just for the Wii.

Here’s a link to a trailer for the new Punch-Out. The Mike Tyson is one of my very favorite games and this new one looks AWESOME!

This will probably be the extent of my video game posting, unless you would like to discuss Mega Man 2 or Bionic Commando.

Guess what? I am now on MySpace and Facebook! I have stayed away from both of them for a long time, but I thought it would be good to dive in (ha ha) to help spread the word about Oceanverse. Though it’s only been a week or two, I am leaning more toward Facebook. The experience is a bit more enjoyable.

So, won’t you be my friend?

MySpace

and…as far as Facebook goes, I guess just search for Mike Schwartz.
