Hello!
I know I’ve been lacking on updates lately. With little Emmett in the household now, managing your webcomic takes a bit of a back seat.
I hope to maintain my usual Monday/Thursday update schedule, but if I start to run a bit behind, I hope you understand. I have up to strip #215 penciled, they just need to be inked. So fear not; there is still plenty of material nearly ready to go.
In other news, The Comic Geek Speak Super Show is quickly coming upon us. This will be my first convention as a guest creator. Also, I will be attending the Summit City Comic Con on May 22. If you’re in the Fort Wayne area, stop by. It promises to be a great, artist-driven show.
Let’s see, what else…
I’ll post some new commission art soon. Maybe if I get the time, I may open up commissions on this site. Would anybody be interested in that?
Media-wise, I just watched Zombieland last night. Very fun movie.
Caprica is quite intriguing so far.
And I just read Daredevil Visionaries: Frank Miller vol. 2, which contains the whole Kingpin-Bullseye-Elektra thing. Wow. Just amazing stuff. Nearly thirty years old, it doesn’t feel dated at all. In fact, it’s more forward thinking than many of the comics out there today.
One last thing, Oceanverse is on it’s way to shattering it’s all-time monthly hit count. Thank you all for your continued support. And if you’d like, you can purchase an Oceanverse t-shirt for only twelve bucks! You can’t beat that!
Take Care,
Mike
